Byrider Car Dealership Franchises: Two Unique Business Models that Capitalize on One Great Industry!

Over the last 30+ years, Byrider has built a solid reputation based on the efforts of the hardworking owners of our car dealership franchises and our tried-and-true business model used to run those dealerships efficiently. Among other advantages, our business model features our proprietary Discover™ software that allows franchisees to smoothly oversee just about every aspect of their franchise. Here, we’ll take a closer look at our traditional business model, as well as our new Byrider Direct Program, one that allows investors to become part of our robust industry at a lower investment level.

Our Traditional Model: We Built Our Name on It

Byrider car dealership franchises are the only buy-here-pay-here investment opportunity in the country, and they enjoy success as a result of a business model that allows owners to fully capitalize on our recession-resistant industry. Our traditional model is vertically integrated, which means as a Byrider franchisee, you’ll be able to:

  • Buy quality used vehicles
  • Recondition and sell your inventory
  • Service the cars you sell
  • Build and own a portfolio of automotive receivables

Because you act as the finance company, there is maximum profit potential; you decide who to finance as you build and own your portfolio.  Our traditional model is one that’s worked exceedingly well for decades and has provided many of our franchisees with handsome returns on their investments.

The Byrider Direct Program: We’ll Grow Our Name with It

When franchisees are able to act as lenders, they have the potential to grow their bottom line. But that role also requires they make more of an initial investment while they also carry additional day to day activities.  That can leave a lot of potential franchisees out of the picture, either because they don’t have the necessary capital Or prefer not to own and managing a finance company.

Now, however, you can break into our industry for less of an investment than you might think, merely by keeping your focus on sales and service and leaving the financing to Corporate Byrider Finance to underwrite and perform needed collection activity. What that means to you is not only a lower initial investment and lower risk but a potentially quicker way to grow your business. You won’t have to manage a portfolio, staff a finance team, or spend time collecting payments, all of which could mean more time to focus on growth!

You Can Count on Our Resources and Support

No matter which business model one chooses, all Byrider car dealership franchises can count on the benefit of our ongoing support to help them grow. You’ll enjoy a protected territory, our expert marketing efforts, networking opportunities, and much more. We’re proud of the difference we’ve made in our industry and are committed to the success of each and every one of our franchisees — not only because the Byrider name depends on it, but because we know they deserve it!
